Shavano Sharks
Swim Team 2010

The Shavano Sharks Swim Team will return in 2010!  Coach Nyssa will be back this year to coach the team.   Registration for Swim Team will take place at the WOSCA Clubhouse.  Swim Team Registration will be March 20 and 27, 2010 at the clubhouse. We look forward to having a great team again this year!

Calendar of Events

Registration: Sat. March 20 and Sat. March 27, 2010 - Woods of Shavano Clubhouse - 10am to 2pm

Tryouts - Swimmers new to the team must try out during the first week of practice

Fees: (includes t-shirt, insurance, awards)

Swim Team Fee: $100, 2nd child $90, 3rd child $80, 4th child + $70

WOS family pool membership: $175, non-resident pool membership: $210

Non-members limited swim team membership: $150

  • Saturday, May 1, 2010 - Team Orientation Meeting for Swimmers and Parents - 1:30pm, Woods of Shavano Clubhouse

Afternoon Practice Schedule:

May 10 - June 4 (Monday thru Friday)

3:30 - 4:00pm - ages 6 and under

4:00 - 5:00pm - ages 7 - 10

5:00 - 6:00 - ages 11 and up

Morning Practice Schedule:

June 7 - July 8 (Monday thru Friday)

8:00 - 9:00am - ages 11 and up

9:00 - 10:00am - ages 7 - 10

10:00 - 10:30am - ages 6 and under

Schedule of Meets:

  • Away - Monday, June 7 vs. Dominion. Warm ups at 5:00pm and meet starts at 5:30pm
  • Home - Monday, June 14 vs. Trophy Ridge. Warm ups at 5:00pm and meet starts at 6:00pm
  • Home - Monday, June 21 vs. Braun Oaks. Warm ups at 5:00pm and meet starts at 6:00pm
  • Home - Monday, June 28 vs. French Creek. Warm ups at 5:00pm and meet starts at 6:00pm
  • Away - Monday, July 5 vs. Oak Hills. Warm ups at 5:30pm and meet starts at 6:00pm
  • Away - Friday, July 9 & Saturday, July 10 - Conference Championship Meet - TBD
  • Monday, July 12 Shavano Sharks Swim Team Party - 6:30pm @ WOS Pool.
